ROUTE 4 BEUDA - MARE DE DEU DEL MONT (trough Can Tries)
After leaving Beuda, we take the highway to Besalú. In a near curve we must take another road, to the right, in the direction of the fountain of Quera. We will continue towards the Castle.
Now we must carry on along the house of Coll de Jou and a crop field, crossing the rushing stream of Cabenelles and going down below Can Vilà. A little further on, we can find Can Nierga and a crossing. we keep to the right and come down a slope to the Molí d'en Guillot ruins.
Later we cross the BURANC trough a corridor and continue on the paved road upwards.
There is a crossing. In our right we can see Besalú (it is a PR with yellow and white marks); we turn to our left, towards Beuda.
On the right there is CAN NIERGA.
We go on the right side of CAN VILÀ, on the left road. Then we turn to the left, towards Can Tries.
We will find an old lime kiln, on the right side of the road.
CAN TRIES entrance. We leave the carriageway, go on the propierty trough the holm oaks in front of the main door. We take a path over the house and go ahead upwards. We will find another old path, used by the coal merchants.
We turn our left. This area is plentiful of Roldón, a plant that was used to tan skins formely.

BASSA D'EN TRIES, an old coal area, easy to distinguish because of the black colour of the floor. In this place the coal manufacturing took place until the 50´s.
Once we leave the coal we must follow the track upwards. Some meters further we must descend to the left.
We will find a second old coal area. Here there are the rests of a building with a flater ground to make coal.
There is a fork. We continue up to Pla Solls.
We will find a third old coal area. We must continue upwards so we never get lost.
We will arrive at a forest trail ready to clear. 100 m further, we must climb to your left, trough the forest trail.
We climb to the left.
We turn to the right.
We turn to the left this time. At first sight we will find the mountain Puig de Malveí and the mountain Bassegoda in the background.
We will see an electricity pylonm. We climb to the left.
We turn to the right. On the left there is an old coal area.
PLA DE SOLLS. There is a cross build in memory of a mass meeting in 1929. We cross the road and go straight on a forest track.
COLLET DE LES SORRERES. We climb straight.
We will find the paved road again. We go to your right. 100 further we must leave the road and turn to the right trough a track.
You will find the road up to Falgars.
